"I've been wondering how I'd answer a med school interviewer's question of why I want to enter medicine. I've been told never to say that the reason is that I wish to "help people." Even though most of us sincerely believe that to be their life goal, it probably isn't something an interviewer wants to hear. For this reason, I wonder how a successful doctor or medical student who has already been through this process answered this question."
